This is the nice 4 point Mule Deer that Dick shot yesterday. We really bit off more than we could chew with this guy. We had about 15 minutes of excitement & then nothing but work. Thankfully, younger & stronger hunters came along to give us a hand. We'd never have got him in the car by ourselves. The guy at the locker said he guessed him to weigh close to 400 pounds before he was skinned, cleaned & the head removed. Needless to say, Dick was pretty tickled even though he keeps saying he just wanted a little Whitetail doe...sounds like the guy with the gold brick. Anyway, we're pretty happy & wanted to share our pictures.
