Trespassing:: President Mike Sprague has received 2 or 3 calls from private landowners concerned with people looking for antler sheds on their property without permission. THAT IS TRESPASSING. You may wind up shedding some bucks for some antler sheds.

Upcoming Events:The Mule Deer Foundation banquet will be held at the Chelan County Fairgrounds on April 24th. Check ticket as to when doors open. Ticket sales are limited to the first 500 and may not be available at the door. Tickets are on sale now at Hooked on Toys and One Shot. Contact person is Tom Gash at 884-4984. An all new Eastman "Traveling Horn Show" will be on display. Food is provided by Longhorn Bar-B-Q. The RMEF (Colockum Chapter) will have their banquet at the Chelan County Fairgrounds May 15th. For tickets contact Wayne Christensen at 663-3761 and for general information contact Steve Adams at 662-2610. Dave Graybill is looking for financial sponsors to buy youth fishing tackle and radio ads for the following juvenile fishing events. The Rock Island ponds fishing will be April 10th. Dave will be there from 10:00-12 noon and could use a few volunteers to help with any fishing problems. The Leavenworth juvenile pond is scheduled for May 15th. Sponsorship is $250 per event. Dave is also looking for a $300 sponsorship for a "Lake Chelan Fishing Kids" on June 5th. This event is one of 12 (C.A.S.T) held across the state. A $5.00 entrance fee includes rod, reel and 'T'Shirt. Contact Dave at 548-6652.

Department Report:Bob Perleberg reports ---- The next two commission meetings are April 2 & 3 in Spokane. Agenda is hunting season rules and decision and amendments to commercial fishery. June 4-5 is a workshop in Olympia with the agenda being 2004-05 public safety for cougar removal. Any questions contact Bob at 662-0452. We were not able to get dates for some of the spring outdoor actions. The Hunting and Fishing pamphlet should be available by early May and you can check dates for starting the spring bear season. Turkey season should be in mid April and state lowland lakes fishing will open in late April. Tom McCall reports Steve Germain is looking for 2 to 4 volunteers to help build and monitor reptile (snakes) and frog traps on or near Sagebrush flats. This is a spring and summer project. Contact Steve at 1-360-902-2499. The deer capture has been rescheduled for April 5 & 6th. Contact Bill Stegeman if you have questions 663-7529 or cell 393-9528.

Clean Up Day:June 19th has been set as our cleanup day in the Stemilt Basin and up the hill to the Colockum. The cleanup area is massive in size and will require a lot of volunteers to make this project another successful event. If interested in helping, contact Matt Gutzwiler at 663-1526.

Nominations:There will be nominations for officers this month, with elections in May. Listed at the top of the newsletter are the current officers. While all positions are open to elections, there are two positions opening for sure. President Mike Sprague's two year term is up and Mike Boyd is resigning his position as Treasurer. Also, Matt Gutzwiler needs someone to be game feed chair-person.

March Program:We wish to thank Rich Beausoliel for an excellent program on the capture, collaring and tracking of bear and cougar.

April Program:: Cliff Rice, from the Olympia WDFW office will give a report on mountain goats. For our May meeting Kerri Sullivan, a transportation planner, will talk on highway crossings by wildlife.
