January Meeting:: January 12, 2004 at 7:30 pm at the Eagles Lodge on 9th St.
Oyster Feed:There will be an "all you can eat" oyster feed at the Dryden Gun Club January 16th. Contact Ron Jagla at
662-5929 for tickets. Money raised will go back into youth activities.
Game Feed 2004:February 9th is our game feed date. Doors open at 5:00pm. Tickets are still available at Rocky's, Valley Feed and One Shot. Ron Bruno (884-9369) and Gordy Goodwin (663-3620) are also selling tickets. Ticket prices are adult $35.00, youth (16 and under) $25.00 and lifetime members $20.00. Be sure to show your life membership card when buying your ticket. We are working to make our 2004 game feed bigger and better by making some minor changes. One of the changes is adding a live auction.
Youth Rifle:Again, we would like to thank Joe Wiggs Sr. for sponsoring the 2003 youth rifle and if anyone is interested in sponsoring the 2004 youth rifle contact Gordy Goodwin at 663-3620.
Volunteers Needed:We will need volunteers to help run the games and be miscellaneous helpers and receivers. Most of the help will be needed to clean up after the feed. Remember, many hands will get us out before midnight.
Duck Cleaning:: There may be a duck cleaning party --- usually the Thursday before the game feed ( Feb. 5th). You will be kept posted on this at the January meeting.
Wallace Endowment Grant:Grant applications must be completed and submitted to Ron Fox by Feb. 27, 2004. If you have any questions call Ron Fox at 665-3383.
Department Reports:Bob Perleberg says, "Get those harvest, non-harvest reports in".
Program Thank You:To those who shared their trophies with us at the "Little Big Horn Show", we thank you. There were a lot of trophy antlers and horns shared with a large crowd. The related stories are always tops to listen to.
January Program:: Either Paul Fielder or Jeff Osborn, P.U.D. biologists will speak to us about the relicensing of rocky Reach Dam and other P.U.D. items.
