General Meeting:  January 15, 2008       7:00pm                                             Steel Workers Hall – 180 Rock Island RoadEast Wenatchee

Game Feed Location:  This years game feed will again be at Apple Annie’s off of Highway 2 in Cashmere.  It is still the only site suitable for our needs.

Game Feed Date:  The date is February 11, 2008, with doors opening at 5:00pm and dinner served at 6:00pm.   The entrance to Apple Annie’s is on the south end of the building and is an outside entrance.

Wild Meat: If you have any wild game meat you wish to donate please call Ron Bruno at 884-9369 or cell 509-679-2359. Your response as soon as possible will enable Ron to come up with a menu for the Health Department.

Youth Raffle:  Anyone wishing to donate to the Youth Raffle please contact Gordy Goodwin at 663-3620.

Lifetime Membership:  The current membership is $500.00 and you will receive a monogrammed jacket with our club logo on the back and on the front.  Current lifetime members can purchase the same jacket or vest through Ron Poppe, so if interested talk with or call Ron at 679-1783 or 662-3957.

Game Feed Tickets:  A reminder, the game feed tickets have gone up $5.00 so an adult ticket is now $20.00 and the membership is now $20.00 also.  Youth game feed tickets now $15.00 with membership also $15.00.  Adult lifetime members must pay the $20.00 and youth lifers $15.00 respectively for the 2008 game feed. Sales will close on February 8.

Silent Auction Area:   A reminder about the new silent auction tables.  They will be closing that area down in units, rather than the one large unit we have had in the past.  Example: if we have 3 tables of auction items, we’ll close one table every 3 to 5 minutes or so.  Throughout the bidding process, you’ll be informed as to what the closing price is listed at.

New Gambling Laws:  Another reminder, according to the Gambling Commission Laws, any ticket that has been altered such as bent, folded, or otherwise mutilated in any way can not be accepted if drawn and must be thrown away.

Workers:  Another reminder, all game feed workers must be a current member prior to the game feed beginning.  There will be no ticket sales after February 8, 2008

Game Feed Tickets Now Non-transferable:  Reminder: As reported in the last newsletter, Due to a host of problems generated during the game feed, any game feed ticket purchased by an individual, can only be used by that individual and not be given to anyone else;  HOWEVER- discussion during the last board meeting realizes this may work a real hardship on some individuals therefore those individuals  with a ticket that they can not use may give it to another individual but the person receiving a transferable ticket must also purchase a membership as well.  This will still keep everything legal.  If you have further questions regarding this issue feel free to contact Ron Bruno at 884-9369 or 679-2359.

Sponsorship:  The club is very receptive and appreciative of anyone who wishes to sponsor any of our raffle items, such as rifles, T shirts, caps and etc.  Call Gene Robard at 662-6277, Ron Bruno at 884-9369 or Matt Gutzwiler at 663-1526.

January Program:  The program for the January meeting will be allotting all of our time to the game feed.

December Program:  Our “Little Big Horn Show” was just as it said, very little in what was on display.  Only one set of horns was brought in.  Discussion will center on what to do with this next year.
