Game Meat:With hunting season in full swing, Ron Bruno is always on the lookout for donated wild game meat. Contact Ron at 884-9369 or cell # 679-9076. Coolers are located at Neal Fulwiler's 663-9076, George Komro can assist you with your freezer needs 24 hours a day. His freezer is located at 1579 Tedford St.. Call George at 884-5359. The freezer at Keith Boyd's is shot and will not be fixed.

Game Feed:The upcoming 2005 game feed is set for February 14th. Matt is still looking for more members to chair various tasks of the feed. Some of those tasks are collecting donations, set-up, cooking, ticket taking, working games and clean up. Contact Matt at 663-1526.

Storage Needed:Currently the mount standards and plywood for the Head Show are being stored outside under a new plastic tarp. Contact Bill Stegeman at 663-7529 if you have an inside storage area.

Colockum Feeders:: Pete is planning to fill the west bar area feeders November 6th and the Tarpiscan area November 13th. Pete usually has enough 4 wheel drive vehicles. These two jobs usually require some foul weather gear. Bring lunch and 2 five gallon pails. These two days will be long. Meet at Pete's at 8:00 am.

Department Report:: Bob Perleberg reports there will be white fishing on the Wenatchee and Entiat Rivers. The season runs from Dec. 1st to Mar. 31st, 2005. There will be more pheasant releases before Thanksgiving. Steelhead fishing is open in the Columbia River (above Rocky Reach Dam), Methow (with one short closed area) and portions of the Okanogan river. Call Bob at 662-0452 about a pamphlet and the closed areas. General cougar season closes November 19th in Chelan, Okanogan, Stevens, Ferry and Pend Oreille counties. This is a pilot program for hound hunting. Talk to Bob for more information. The November WDFW meeting in the Wenatchee area will be held at Campbell's in Chelan. Always ask for permission to hunt on private property and respect that land owner. Tom McCall reports the feeders from Swakane to Chelan Butte will be filled Wednesday November 10th, which is a change from November 9th as previously noted. Meet at the Buzz Potts mobilehome at 9:00am and bring a lunch, foul weather gear and 5 gallon pails. If you use your pickup, make sure all holes are sealed. November Program:: Jeff Bernatowiez from the Yakima Office of the WDFW will share with us a proposed plan to close the Yakima and Colockum Wildlife habitat areas to Quad riding during the winter and spring time which is the elk calving time. This will give you an opportunity to listen and voice some thoughts and concerns.

Little Big Horn Show:December program is our "Little Big Horn Show". Bring in your trophies, large or small - fur, feathers or hair, but most of all, bring in those "stories".
