Game Meat:With hunting season in full swing, Ron Bruno is always on the lookout for donated wild game meat. Contact Ron at 884-9369 or cell # 679-2359. Coolers are located at Neal Fulwiler's 663-9076, George Komro can assist you with your freezer needs 24 hours a day. His freezer is located at 1579 Tedford St.. Call George at 884-5359.
Game feed:The upcoming 2006 game feed is set for February 13th Gene Robard is chairing the event this year and can be reached at 662-6277.
Bob Perleberg's Replacement:: Amy Woods has been hired to replace Bob Perleberg who retired in July. She says the doors will be open from 8:00am to 5:00pm and welcomes visits from us.
Colockum Feeders:Pete is planning to fill the west bar area feeders Wednesday, November 9th. Meet at Pete's place at 8:00am and bring lunch and two 5 gal. pails.
Department Report:: Amy Woods reports there will be white fishing on the Wenatchee and Entiat Rivers. The season runs from Dec. 1st to Mar. 31st, 2006.
Steelhead fishing is open in the Columbia River (above Rocky Reach Dam), Methow River (with one short closed area) and portions of the Okanogan river. You are asked to keep any hatchery steelhead caught and asked to release all native steelhead caught.
General cougar season closes November 30th in Chelan, Okanogan, Stevens, Ferry and Pend Oreille counties.
Tom McCall reports the feeders from Swakane to Chelan Butte will be filled Thursday, November 10th. Meet at the Department office at 8:00am or the Buzz Potts mobilehome at 9:00am and bring a lunch, foul weather gear and 5 gallon pails. If you use your pickup, make sure all holes are sealed. The next 3 year hunting season (2006-2008) will be receiving public comment from Oct. 30 to Nov. 30. Comments or questions call Beau Patterson at 663-9764.
Shotgun Shells:Free to a good home, approximately 1000 twenty gauge shells that have been decapped and checked. Contact Larry Wadkins at 663-5870.

Little Big Horn Show:December program is our "Little Big Horn Show". Our trophy heads and stories have been declining the past year or so. So----- whether your trophy be large, small or indifferent, we enjoy viewing them and best of all, it is the related story that is of most interest.
