Game Meat:  In the game meat department Ron Bruno could use some more bear and other exotic wild game.  Contact Ron at 884-9369 or cell 679-2359.

Volunteer Time & Hours:  Ron Poppe says, “keep those hours and miles coming in”.  More and more members are reporting such, which only proves our involvement with the Department.  Ron Poppe’s phone number is 662-3957.

 

Feeder Fillings:  We will keep you posted when Pete and Marc will be filling feeders.  If you are interested in helping give Bill Stegeman a call at 663-7529 or cell is 393-9528.

Department Report:  Remember to call in or email your mandatory harvest / non-harvest report.  You must do so if you hunted deer, bear, elk or turkey.  You may do so by phone 1-877-945-3492 or online at:  www.fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov

Several big horn sheep have been hit by auto’s on Hwy 97A.   Remind yourselves and others to slow down and give them the “brakes”.

 

Advisory Group:  Up to 20 qualified individuals will be selected for a fish advisory group for 2009 – 10.  The position closes December 1, 2008.  If interested contact Lori at the Department office, 662-0452.

 

Little Big Horn Show / The December Program:  Our “Little / Big Horn Show” is on again and will be the program for our December meeting.  Again, it is open to anyone whether a member or not who wishes to bring in their trophy---- large or small.  If you can’t bring in the trophy a picture will do.  What is not important is the location of your favorite hunting ground.  Remember, we love the stories, whether serious and / or silly.

November Program:  Anthony Novak (WDFW staff member) will talk to the group on the reintroduction of wolves into Washington.  The wolves are coming whether we like it or not and Anthony is charged with the responsibility to speak to the group about the issue.
