Call For Game Meat: As we start the new year, we start the request for wild game meat for our game feed. Call Erv or Ron if you have any to donate.
Lifetime Memberships: : We welcome lifetime memberships at $250.00 per individual. In the past, anyone who buys a lifetime membership prior to the game feed is elgible to be in the lifetime membership raffle ----- that is providing the raffle is continued.
Web Page: Ron Bruno (884-9369) reports the web page is still doing great. To log on, type in www.ncwoutdoors.com and click down to our club information. Ron welcomes any outdoor activity information for the web page.
Department Report: Tom McCall (665-3391) will need one or two volunteers to release pheasants. Release dates will run from late September through Thanksgiving. Contact Tom at his office, 665-3391.
Bob Perleberg reports there are several copies of the "Washington Hunting News" in his office. Among the many articles written, one is about chronic wasting disease and another article is about disabled hunting opportunities in Washington. Upland game birds / waterfowl pamphlets will be out mid September.
On page 26 of the hunter pamphlet, the following units in Chelan County will be closed to youth and disabled hunters. The units are: 243 Manson, 244 Clark, 245 Chiwawa, 246 Slideridge and 247 Entiat. Chinook salmon fishing in the upper Columbia River runs through October 15. If you have any questions, contact Bob at 662-0452.
