Hunting Washington State

Zane loves my Duck dog!
Duck Hunting is addictive, Only a duck hunter would get up at 4 am in January when its 10 degrees outside and go for a half hour boat ride up river to a Duck blind. But that's what me and my friend Zane did. We spent the next hour before daylight setting out the decoys and getting the blind ready for the onslaught of ducks that would be looking for a place to to hit the water at daylight. Everything was prefect, as we sat in the blind sipping coffee, with my trusty golden retriever setting between us anxious to get to work. I gulped down my cup of coffee and realized that I had a pot of coffee before leaving home. It would be daylight soon now and I had to go...... Better go before it gets light, I stepped out of the blind and started relieving the six or more cups of coffee while keeping a sharp eye peeled for any incoming ducks. Hmmmm, that's funny, no tinkling sounds? I looked down and notice that Missy, my retriever had come with me and assumed a heel right in front of me. OH GREAT! I climbed back in the blind and set down, I turned to Zane and asked him, Is my dog wet? He stroked her and looked at his hand and said yes she's sopping wet, What happen? I explained to him want had taken place. I guess you all know the conversation that took off from there !@#@!*&@ The End!
PS The rest of the hunt went well and yes we did get our limits.
