General Meeting: November 20, 2007 7:00pm Steel Workers
Hall,
Game Meat: Ron Bruno is looking for some variety in wild
game meat since we have enough elk. He
could use cougar, moose, bear and etc.
Since Ron has reduced the number of dishes being served, he has had to
increase the amount of meat from 40 lbs to 60 lbs per dish. That does not mean 60 lbs exactly, but much
fore than 40 lbs. Contact Ron at
884-9369 or cell 679-2359.
Certificates: Our “Eyes-In-The-Woods” certificates are
in. They will be available at our
November 20th meeting.
Cooler: Matt Gutzwiler
(663-1526)has offered his large cooler for use to cool
donated wild game meat. Other coolers
available are – one at Ron Bruno’s (884-9369), another at Neal Fulwiler’s (663-9076) and George Komro’s
(884-5359).
Department Report: There will not be a department report this
month due to the loss of Amy Woods.
Through the hiring process from a temporary to permanent employee Amy
lost her job. Amy – we as club members
feel we have lost a very valuable and special person, who came in and filled
Bob Perleberg’s boots right to the gnats eye. We will miss you and wish the best to you in
the future.
As stated in the October 2006 newsletter,
check your Hunting and Fishing Pamphlet for closure
dates and it is mandatory to report harvest / non-harvest of elk, deer, bear
and cougar if you hunted any of the those listed.
Little Big Horn Show / The
December Program: Our “Little / Big Horn Show” is
on again. We welcome any trophy whether
large or small, pictures and etc. from 2007 back to whenever. It is your trophy and your story. If you need help getting them there on Dec.
18th, call Matt Gutzwiler (663-1526), Bill
Stegeman (663-7529), Pon Poppe (662-3957). Let’s make this the largest “Little / Big
Horn Show” ever.

November Program: An individual from N.W. Conservation will
speak on Grizzly bear recovery. Part 2
of the program will be Ken McManee (DNR –Ellensburg
office) and he will speak on road closures by way of gates and etc. in the Colockum area.
